Now that Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are entry level job requirements in fashion, we designers need to make sure we don't become a service industry of professional software users.
We've come a long way from Adobe Photoshop 5, for me that journey has included 4PC's, 6 MAC's(2powerbooks, 1Macbook pro, performa, ibook and iMAC.)
The best thing about these two programs is that you can use them to create marketing materials for showing off your talent.
